FRS is pleased to invite you to a webinar entitled “Exploring South Korea-EU security linkages in the Indo-Pacific and Europe”, which will be held online on Monday, June 16, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm (CET).
The Indo-Pacific region has become a major focus for global strategic interests, requiring strong security cooperation among countries that share the same values. Strengthening relations between South Korea and Europe has taken on new importance in this context, reflecting a shared commitment to regional security and stability, freedom of navigation and a rules-based international order. As the geopolitical landscape evolves, notably with the deepening partnership between Russia and China and North Korea's growing involvement in the war in Ukraine, South Korea and Europe, including France, are exploring new ways to strengthen their security cooperation, respond to common challenges and make the most of their political, diplomatic and strategic capabilities. This webinar will discuss some of the issues that lie ahead and how South Korea and Europe intend to address them.
